I LOVE Barley Wood. it's one of my current favourites. Set in 11 acres of grounds this historic building was once owned by Hannah More and has been an exclusive use wedding venue since 2015. I was delighted to photograph one of the very first weddings that was hosted at Barley Wood and I have been entranced ever since. The Italian gardens have the most wonderful 'secret garden' feel to them. It's elegant, yet rustic and the fact that it's dry hire means you can do exactly what you want without being tied to a certain format of timings or catering. Fancy a breakfast ceremony, followed by cream tea on the lawn and an evening relaxing on the terrace with fish and chips? It's your day...go for it!
